I am a qualified Person Centred Approach counsellor with over 5 years of experience working with a variety of clients within organisations, charities, schools and my private practice. I offer face to face and online counselling in a safe and confidential place to encourage and let the client explore any issues they may bring. I provide short term or long term counselling for a wide range of issues. I have experience in a wide range of areas, including mild to moderate depression, anxiety, trauma, loss, bereavement, divorce, relationship issues, anger issues, domestic abuse, self-esteem, work related issues and sexuality issues. In the past, I worked with children, young adults, adults and elderly people. I am bilingual and also offer counselling in Greek.
Training, qualifications & experience
I hold a diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and have been practicing since 2016. In addition to seeing private clients, I have extensive clinical experience working within the NHS in Mind, Cruse Bereavement Care focusing on loss and Woman's Trust where I worked with survivors of Domestic Abuse. I have also recently worked within a school setting counselling children under 11 by integrating play therapy and art therapy.
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Accredited Register Scheme
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
