About me

Feeling stressed or anxious? Life can feel like it's piling on, leaving you feeling drained, stuck, or disconnected from the things that once brought you joy. If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or unsure of how to navigate it all, I’m here to help.

I work with individuals who are struggling with stress, anxiety, and emotional overwhelm, whether it’s from work, relationship pressures, family responsibilities, or simply the constant demand of trying to keep it all together. If you’re feeling like you’re not able to catch your breath or that your mental and emotional health are taking a backseat, it’s time to reach out and get the support you deserve.

Together, we'll identify the root causes of your stress, explore the underlying emotions, and develop practical strategies that can help you regain a sense of balance. Therapy isn’t about adding more to your plate—it’s about finding clarity and learning how to manage your time, energy, and emotions more effectively.

Why Therapy?

It’s normal to feel like you should be able to handle everything on your own, or to feel guilty for taking time for yourself. Many people fear that seeking help means they’re “not strong enough” or that they’ll be judged. I believe reaching out for support is an empowering choice that can lead to lasting change. Therapy is a safe, non-judgmental space to talk through your difficulties and explore ways to reclaim your peace of mind.

In our sessions, you’ll find a compassionate space where you can be truly heard, without pressure or expectation. I’ll support you in developing the tools to manage stress in healthy, sustainable ways—whether that’s through mindfulness techniques, emotional processing, or learning how to set boundaries that protect your mental well-being.

You deserve to feel balanced and at peace, not overwhelmed by the demands of life. Therapy can give you the tools to navigate stress, manage difficult emotions, and reconnect with the things that truly matter to you.

First Step

Taking the first step can be daunting, but it’s also the beginning of a journey toward healing and reclaiming your life. If you’re unsure of how to move forward, I encourage you to reach out.

I offer a free 15-minute call as an opportunity for us to get to know each other. This is a relaxed, no-pressure conversation where we can discuss what you hope to gain from therapy and explore whether we’re a good fit to work together.

It’s also a chance for you to ask any questions you may have about the counselling process. If this sounds like something you’d be interested in, I’d love to connect via email, or:

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a fully qualified Counsellor registered with BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy).

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
