Elainer Kerstin - Dip.Couns. Reg MBACP (Lavender Counselling Services)
Perhaps you are experiencing anxiety, depression or trauma, grieving after a bereavement or suffering a different kind of loss? Maybe work place stress is having a detrimental effect on your well being or you are having relationship problems? You may have health issues, panic attacks or chronic pain? You may feel there are unresolved issues that you would like to explore, have low self worth or are experiencing negative thoughts and feelings?
Sometimes we just cannot identify the reasons why we are feeling the way we do, exploring the past and the present may bring understanding and awareness.
I am a fully qualified Person Centred Counsellor and a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. I work with clients privately on a short and long term basis and also within educational trusts in Northamptonshire providing counselling to teachers and support staff.
HOW COUNSELLING CAN HELP YOU
Our thoughts, feelings and experiences can become overwhelming at times. I can offer you the opportunity to feel heard and understood in a warm and friendly manner in a safe and peaceful environment. This will enable you to explore and manage your emotions, allowing you to work towards resolving issues and beneficial change.
Counselling is a safe, confidential place to offload, express and process your feelings in a way that may not be available to you at the moment, this may allow you to feel less alone or isolated. Research has shown that our emotional health can affect our physical health and vice versa affecting a range of issues including anxiety, panic attacks and even pain.
I treat all of my clients with empathy, respect and without judgement offering the best possible support at all times. My counselling room is comfortable, private and welcoming and is situated on the ground floor in quiet and peaceful location with plenty of free parking.
YOUR FIRST APPOINTMENT
Your first appointment will include an assessment to see what you would like and need from counselling. I feel it is important to trust and feel comfortable with your counsellor and have confidence that working together may be therapeutic for you, so if you feel you would like to talk me before arranging an appointment I do offer a free ten minute telephone consultation.
Adults - over 18
I offer private one to one, short and long term personal counselling in my office at Wollaston offering a safe, warm and supportive approach.
I also offer Employee Support - working with organisations and schools offering counselling and emotional support to staff. This allows employees to explore work related and personal issues thus supporting and promoting well being.
HOW TO CONTACT ME
Please email, message or telephone me if you would like to make an appointment or have further enquiries, I aim to respond as soon as I am able.
