Elaine Rawlins MBACP
Hi, I'm Elaine, a highly qualified and experienced psychotherapeutic counsellor working with adults, children and young people.
I work as a Humanistic counsellor, and I aim to bring together the approach which is most likely to be of lasting help to each individual client. Perhaps you are simply looking for someone to talk to who will really listen to you, the smallest change in perspective can make a big difference.
I will work with you, with who you are, and with your experience and perception of what is troubling you. Whatever has led you to seek counselling, I will welcome and support you with respect and understanding. Working together we will enable you to access your inner resources and find ways to make your situation more manageable and to cope with the demands and challenges of life.
Everyone experiences emotional difficulties at some point in their lives. It may be that you are feeling overwhelmed by life events or perhaps you are aware that you are repeating patterns of behaviour and are unable to find a way to change anxiety or depression or improve your relationships. Maybe you have struggled with issues that began many years ago and you are now ready to talk about them.
Please call, email or text me with any questions you may have - I can help.
I look forward to meeting with you.
