Elaine Rawlins MBACP
I hope that reading my directory listing will help you consider if I might be able to help you. I am qualified to work with adults, children and young people.
Everyone experiences emotional difficulties at some point in their lives. It may be that you are feeling overwhelmed by life events or perhaps you are aware that you are repeating patterns of behaviour and are unable to find a way to change anxiety or depression or improve your relationships. It could be a recent event that has left you feeling weighed down or possibly you have struggled with issues that began many years ago and you are now ready to talk about them.
Perhaps you are simply looking for someone to talk to who will really listen to you. The smallest change in perspective can make a big difference.
Counselling is a talking therapy which offers you an opportunity to explore aspects of your personal life and to recognise the emotional difficulties that you may feel unable to share with friends or family. Sometimes a trained professional is needed to help in regaining our sense of personal balance.
Working together we will enable you to access your inner resources and find ways to make your situation more manageable and to cope with the demands and challenges of life.
I work with you, with who you are and your unique experience and perception of what is troubling you. Whatever has led you to seek counselling, you will be welcomed and supported with respect and understanding.
Please call, email or text me with any questions you may have.
I look forward to meeting with you,
