Are you experiencing difficult feelings such as anger, sadness, shame or hopelessness? Are you trying to manage negative thoughts, anxiety, depression or low self-esteem? Maybe you have always had these thoughts and feelings but never really understood why. Life can often present us with challenges such as bereavement, loss, relationship breakdowns, redundancy and pressures at work. These events can lead to such feelings. Whatever the circumstances, all of these thoughts and feelings can impact on our ability to enjoy life.
At Your Counselling Space I provide a safe, confidential room where we can explore your thoughts and feelings and work together to face some of those life challenges. I am a down to earth counsellor who will listen, empathise and be non-judgemental.
Deciding to attend counselling can be a daunting prospect so I offer an initial 30 minutes assessment where you can come and talk to me and we can discuss what you might want to get from counselling. I will explain what counselling is and what it is not and answer any questions that you might have. After the initial assessment you can decide if you are ready to start counselling and if I am the right counsellor for you.
