About me
My name is Elaine and thank you for visiting my profile. I have worked as a complementary therapist for most of my professional life and retrained as a therapeutic counsellor in 2014. I have also developed a more holistic way of working using Reiki, Reflexology and Counselling skills. I work mainly on a one-to-one basis with adults.
My working hours are flexible, daytime, evening and weekends. On your first visit, we will complete a short consultation so that we may establish what your needs are. This first visit is for you to decide if you are comfortable working together.
In my practice, I provide a confidential, non judgemental, safe and warm environment in which you may explore your thoughts and feelings.
I also provide supervision to counsellors and holistic therapists, using the seven eyed model. My approach is integrative and humanistic. I offer one to one supervision and group supervision.
Training, qualifications & experience
I hold a level four qualification in Therapeutic Counselling and have worked with a range of client groups, specialising in those with cancer. I am an accredited member of the National Counselling Society and adhere to their ethical framework, this includes committing to continuing professional development (CPD).
I am DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checked and fully insured.
