About my practice
I work in a collaborative and supportive way with my clients, to help them achieve the change and growth they hope for. Whether you are experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, stress or relationship problems, or want to focus on general mental well-being and growth, I offer a safe, confidential space to explore your issues. I work in a client-centred way, which means the therapeutic journey is tailored to your individual needs.
I offer a short (30 minute) introductory session, for us to explore if we could work together. There is no obligation beyond this session, it's there for you to see if I could be a suitable therapist for you.
If you would like to find out more, or to set up an introductory meeting, please call me on 07444 504 703 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Training, qualifications & experience
With a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, I completed a Masters in Counselling Studies from the University of Edinburgh. To expand on the Person-Centred and Psychodynamic knowledge I gained here, I completed a Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Group Therapy at the Centre of Therapy (Scotland). I am interested in many approaches to counselling and psychotherapy, and consider myself a pluralist practitioner i.e. I work with the tools and techniques best tailored to the individual needs of the client.
I am passionate about learning and engage actively in my continued professional development (CPD), with a view to constantly working towards being a better therapist.
