About me

How does my service help with your issues:

I facilitate a safe and comfortable environment for you to access previously unspoken issues.

I listen to your thoughts and feelings empathically and without judgment.

I give you feedback and ask questions to help you explore and express your thoughts and feelings.

Together, we will explore your past and present to localise the source of your feelings, thoughts, beliefs, and life patterns.

I facilitate the process of reconnecting with your core self by working on dreams and phantasies, concentrating on retelling a personal narrative, and exploring your art and/or writing.

I propose explorative exercises around connecting to your inner child and archetypes. I also suggest some Cognitive Behavioural Therapy exercises that can lead you to change your thoughts, beliefs, and actions.

I also work with the body and lead you in somatic exercises, like guided meditation, vagus nerve resets, seeing and sensing here and now, and mindful breathing. I prescribe some exercises to help you balance your nervous system.

I lead you in working with shame, aided by Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, to explore and change negative patterns of behaviour that you probably developed to avoid accessing your complicated feelings.

I assist you in exploring, understanding and dealing with trauma responses like fight (anger), flight (anxiety), freeze (motivation paralyse), and collapse (dissociation).

I assist you in exploring and recalibrating understanding of your needs to establish the right life direction. I will collaborate with you to navigate your thoughts and feelings during transitional periods of your life, such as divorce, pregnancy, bereavement, or a change of career.

I will help you learn tools and strategies to regulate your feelings, such as uncontrollable angry reactions, panic attacks, overwhelmedness, and stress.

I will encourage you to explore self–care practices and develop stable, long-lasting habits that support a balanced life.

I coach you through navigating your ADHD or ASD symptoms like procrastination, attention issues, memory struggles, problems with organisation and time management, impulsivity, and social anxiety.

I will help you explore your past patterns of relating and find ways of attracting and interacting that might be more beneficial for you.

About you:

You have arrived on my page because you are looking for a solution to an unbearable situation.

You might feel overwhelmed, sad, or confused. Self-help books, podcasts, online support groups, family and friends can no longer help.

You are looking for a real deal that will change things for good.

You might feel like you have lost a piece of yourself and are about to break down. You may feel like your life reflects what others want from you, which has become a heavy burden you cannot carry anymore.

You might feel like your body is separated from your thoughts, and you can suffer from insomnia, overeating, unexplained angry reactions, panic attacks, and paralysing moods of despair. You may feel increasingly separated from others and hunted by critical thoughts. On the other hand, it is possible that you are finding yourself in a toxic relationship, and you are unable to say how you arrived here.

Maybe you work shockingly long hours but never feel good enough about your performance. You fear burnout but cannot refuse unreasonable requests, and you take on more responsibilities.

It is also possible that on top of everything, you struggle with symptoms of ADHD and/or ASD, and you wish you did not have to mask anymore.

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
