Dwayne Rowe BSc (Hons), Dip Couns, MBACP.
I am a therapeutic Counsellor based in Stockwell SW9 (nearest tube stations Clapham North and Stockwell) with 4 years experience of working with clients. I also offer sessions by telephone or Skype.
My training is integrative which means I incorporate a number of different counselling theories and approaches. I mostly use the person centred approach, and draw on others such as Psychodynamic and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
Counselling provides a place for difficult thoughts and feelings to be processed. It helps to bring about clarity and understanding to issues that may feel confusing.
It is my desire to provide a safe space for my clients to explore, developing an understanding of how their past may have impacted their present and to make new choices that might bring change. I help them to understand themselves better and improve their relationships with others. I am experienced working with a diverse range of people, working through many issues including:
Anger management, anxiety, bereavement, depression, low self-esteem, relationships, panic attacks, stress, faith and spirituality issues.
I am a member of BACP and adhere to their guidelines for ethical practice.
