I am a fully qualified Psychodynamic Counsellor, based at the Lennards Chartered Accountants Building, 31 Great King Street in central Macclesfield. I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (registration number 152994). I specialise in counselling School Children and Young People, Adults and long term family issues. I will also work with the issues listed below.

I am a Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP), Member of BACP Counselling Children & Young People (MBACP CCYP). I have a CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) enhanced clearance in order to work with children and young people.
My training took place at Derby University in Buxton where I studied the various approaches to Psychodynamic Counselling and I am receiving regular professional supervision. I have full professional insurance.
I have worked with Primary School Children with Place2Be, Secondary School Children at Stockport School, Children and Young Adults at Just Drop In and Silk House In Macclesfield over my 15 years experience.
I have three years experience working in a Woman’s centre supporting victims of domestic abuse. This role required the ability to relate sensitively and positively to families under stress, fleeing domestic violence.

Initial Counselling Consultation - 1 hour £50
This is an opportunity to get to know you and your current situation and for you to meet and feel comfortable with me. If I feel, however, your case is in need of more specialized help then I can advise you on what route to follow.
Each Further Counselling session (1 hour)
