Donna Wood, Postgraduate Diploma Counselling
The Tower Clinic
8 Tinshill Lane
My name is Donna. I am a fully qualified counsellor offering you a warm, confidential approach tailored to your particular needs, whether they be short or long-term. I trained in integrative, relational therapy which means that we would be working very much together on the issues that bring you to counselling, in order to gain improved mood, confidence, better relationships etc and maintain that improvement post therapy.
I obtained my first counselling qualification in 1994 and since then have seen that we all could make good use of counselling at certain times in our lives. I have continued and still continue to add to my qualifications and am now qualified at Postgraduate Diploma level.
I have many years experience of working with individuals, couples and groups in a variety of counselling and educational settings. I work now in a combination of private and voluntary counselling where clients self-refer and we receive referrals from NHS GPs and other agencies.
I update my training on a regular basis and have recently attended training on Generalised Anxiety Disorder and Aspergers and High Functioning Autism.
I have counselled people bringing a wide variety of issues but have a particular interest in working with:
Anxiety and stress
Loss and bereavement
Work related stress
I am very happy for you to come to an initial single appointment so you can see what counselling has to offer for you.
Do email, text or ring me and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
