Is there a feeling you no longer want, or perhaps want to understand deeper? Or is there something, like a situation that you would like to see changed, or improved?
Hi, and welcome to my page. My name is Donna, and I am a qualified Counsellor working in the Great Coates/ Grimsby area. I provide Person-Centred counselling online, on the phone, or face to face, at a time that is convenient to you. Currently there are some short notice appointments available.
Counselling is about supporting you through the challenging situations you currently face, or have faced, and helping you understand and cope with feelings, emotions, thoughts and beliefs.
I can support you with difficulties such as depression, anxiety, panic, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, or feeling sad, or a feeling of being lost.
I offer a calm, non-rushed, safe, confidential, non-judgmental place to explore the thoughts, feelings and beliefs that may be holding you back from understanding, accepting, or making a change. I can support you to unravel obstacles, enabling you to feel less confused, isolated, or lost. Supporting you find a greater sense of self.
At my home in Great Coates, Grimsby (a short walk from the train station) there is free parking, and my home has wheelchair access. However, if you prefer, I am available to provide counselling in the comfort of your own home either in person, or online or by telephone.
Before our first session, I offer a free 10-15 minute telephone chat to get to know each other a little and to ensure that this partnership is right for the both of us. Please do not worry about making that call, I am here to guide you and can help put your worries about starting counselling to one side.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
