About me

Hello and welcome, my name is Donna and I’m a qualified therapeutic counsellor working online via zoom and also by telephone.

I know from my own experience just how challenging life can be at times, and how overwhelming that may feel. Perhaps you are struggling to cope with difficult feelings and emotions following a bereavement, loss or change to your circumstances? Or it may be that you are finding it difficult to manage feelings of stress and anxiety which is affecting your confidence and self esteem.

How I can help
I can help by providing you with a ‘breathing space’, some regular time just for you, where I invite you to explore the issues that are causing you distress. I have a naturally warm and calm approach which will help put you at your ease, creating a safe and confidential environment where you can be yourself and discuss your thoughts and feelings in a way that feels right for you. Counselling support can help you to gain insight and a deeper understanding of yourself, enabling you to build your resilience and feel more confident as you face life’s challenges going forward.

Get in touch
Thank you for taking the time to read about the service I provide. Choosing a counsellor is a very personal decision and if my profile speaks to you, then please contact me for a free 15 minute telephone call to see if we are a good fit.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
