Dominika Plucha (MBACP)
Hello and a warm welcome to my page.
Are you feeling overwhelmed?
Difficulties in coping with daily life?
Feeling 'stuck' and uncertain which direction to take in your life?
I'm here to listen. I offer a confidential and non-judgmental environment where you are free to talk about your concerns.
Contacting a counsellor is a courageous first step as it isn’t always easy to talk about issues which are troubling us. I am committed in working and exploring issues you bring.
Working as a counsellor is my greatest passion. I feel honoured for being allowed to support clients through challenging times in their lives and seeing my clients transition during the therapy, which can lead to personal growth, positive change and an overall improvement in their lives.
I’m a member of BACP provide the highest level of confidentiality possible, according to the law and the Code of Ethics of BACP.
I practice privately in the heart of central Exeter in light and peaceful rooms. In addition, I can facilitate counselling via Skype if you are unable to meet me in the practice rooms.
I'm bilingual and fluent in English and Polish. I can facilitate my counselling sessions in Polish if you wish.
I consider each person as unique and individual and therefore, from a personal choice I work as an integrative counsellor.
Working within this approach allows me to combine and bring together different elements of therapies and techniques and those will vary depending on your individual needs.
I’m specialised in using mindfulness and technique based approaches for anxiety, panic disorder, depression and stress related issues.
I have experience working in short-term and long term client work and the pace you want to work within is entirely up to you. It’s very important to me that you feel safe and comfortable during the counselling sessions and therefore I will never ‘push you’ to reveal anything you don’t feel comfortable talking about.
