Dr Dominic Plant
During the COVID-19 pandemic I am continuing to take on new clients, with all sessions taking place via secure online video consultations.
Making the decision to see a therapist can feel daunting. I hope to offer you a private and non-judgmental space in which you feel comfortable to express and explore what you are struggling with. Through developing a shared understanding of your difficulties, my aim is to provide you with a psychotherapy that is effective and personalised to your individual needs, personality style and goals.
I have particular expertise in helping clients overcome worry, panic, low mood and low self-confidence, deal with relationship issues, and come to terms with turbulent life events. Depending on your goals and needs, I can offer shorter term therapy to address a specific problem, or we can work together on a longer term basis and take a wider and more holistic perspective.
Training, qualifications & experience
I'm a Chartered Clinical Psychologist who's been practising clinically in the NHS, private practice and NGO sector for 7 years. Prior to my clinical training, I undertook a PhD in Developmental Psychopathology. My academic training allows me to offer a broader perspective and knowledge base to understanding your difficulties.
