About me

As human beings we know deep down what is right and wrong for us, and what we want and need. However, the impact of our upbringing, our families, work and our relationships often means that we lose touch with what we know and what we want. As a Person Centred counsellor I will honour your focus and priorities, and I will work at offering you an environment in which it is safe enough for you to come to the decisions or changes that are right for you and for how you want to live your life.

I have worked as a counsellor for over 25 years. I started work in private practice in 2000 after working in a number of specialist areas including domestic abuse, mental health and sexual abuse. I aim to provide a professional, confidential service that has at its heart a commitment to helping you to become whole and healthy again. I work face-to-face with both individuals and couples, in both a short and long term capacity. I have purpose built, ground floor, accessible accommodation in a quiet area with easy parking.
