About me

Hello and Welcome to my profile!

My name is Divina and I am a qualified Humanistic counsellor who offers one to one counselling sessions in Harrow or via Zoom.

Life can be hard, challenging and demanding at times and we could all use with someone to talk to and explore our thoughts, feelings and ideas with. As an experienced person-centred therapist, with a degree in Humanistic Counselling, I am able to offer clients a safe, confidential and freeing space where I can support needs in a non judgemental, open and honest environment, which can enable genuine change to occur in your life.

Daily life can be problematic, testing and stressful hence why I offer an authentic, understanding and empathic therapeutic relationship in a calm environment. By exploring your thoughts in therapy with me, I can help support you on your personal journey, on reaching a place where you feel content, accepting and a sense of development within yourself as an individual. There are many different reasons as to why you may choose counselling - maybe you feel stuck or anxious? Or they may be a specific aspect in your life, that may need exploring such as a bereavement thats taken place, a form of abuse, or you may feel a form of sadness that you want to understand.

There is a reason you are currently reading through my profile - do not hesitate to email, text or call me with any questions you may have. I offer a free 15 minute phone consultation.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have a BA Hons in Humanistic Counselling, from the University of Nottingham. Alongside my degree I have been on a number of training courses that have included work with domestic violence, depression, eating disorders and goal setting.

I am a member of the BACP as well as my course being accredited by the National Counselling Society.

I have training in other areas and throughout the year, I attend a wide range of workshops and training days.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
