Dionne Marie Ward (Dionne Marie Counselling)
Welcome to my page. I am a qualified and BACP registered Integrative Counsellor and Wellbeing Coach. I work from my private practice and I offer a space for you that is met with empathy, warmth and without judgement. Having faced many physical and emotional challenges in my life and experienced personal therapy myself, I am able to draw upon this in my work with you.
My work is integrative which allows me to offer you support tailored to your emotional, mental and physical need. My technique uses talking and solution focused therapy and art therapy including sand tray work. You will be welcomed into a warm open space where you can speak freely, where we will create a therapeutic relationship enabling you to feel heard by me and creating the conditions required for change and healing.
As I walk along your path to understand your world through your eyes our work together will enable deep exploration of your current feelings whether that be worry, distress, anxiety, low self-esteem, anger or any feelings that are currently overwhelming you. Our work will also support a better understanding of self; how you communicate, your coping mechanisms and areas such as self-worth leading to an increased awareness of how you process and the effect that has on your life enabling you to develop a change in thought and behaviour.
