Are you struggling? Do you feel not listened to? I am an experienced and qualified counsellor having worked within the NHS and also for local and national charities.
Counselling gives you the time and space to talk through any problems you may be experiencing and any difficult situations whereby you may feel there are no solutions. Many of us don't like to "burden someone else with our problems". However, a problem shared often is a problem halved. By listening carefully I can help you to see difficulties more clearly, maybe from a slightly different angle. I can talk you through your problems and support you through a difficult time. I can help you to find your own answers to your troubles by encouraging you to see the bigger picture.
DDP counselling offers a counselling service committed to providing supportive therapy in a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment.
I am able to offer counselling on a short term or longer term basis and this is available on a individual one-to-one basis. On our first meeting if you decide that counselling is for you, and we both feel we can work together, then we will agree how many sessions feel appropriate, and then adjust that to meet your needs as we progress. The whole process is about helping you.
I have life experiences which have resulted in my managing a number of challenging issues and in doing so allows me to bring empathy and genuineness to my work.
