About me
Hello, my name is Diane. I'm an integrative counsellor offering video call and telephone counselling. You may be feeling anxious, sad or stressed, or experiencing a life change such as illness or bereavement and be looking for a safe space to talk this through. I can support you to gain a better understanding of your feelings and thought processes, and navigate your emotional challenges.
I have experience of working with a variety of client issues including, but not limited to; bereavement and loss, anxiety, depression and low mood, self-esteem and self-worth issues, relationship issues, stress, anger, coping with change and uncertainty, chronic health conditions, terminal illness, workplace difficulties, perfectionism and self-criticism.
I'm an integrative counsellor which means that I work on the basis that no single approach suits everyone. I use elements of different therapeutic approaches to support you as an individual and your own unique set of requirements.
I understand that counselling can be a difficult and daunting experience, so I do my best to create a welcoming and supportive environment, based on respect, empathy, and trust, where you feel in control of your own therapeutic process.
I work both short term and longer term depending on your requirements.
You can contact me by phone or email, to arrange a free 20-30 minute initial meeting over the phone or via video call. You can then decide if you would like to book further sessions.
