About me
Sometimes in life we feel stuck and struggle to make sense of our difficulties. At times like these it can be helpful to talk to someone outside of our family or friends circle. I can offer you a confidential space where you can discuss your problems and be yourself, whatever that might be. I am committed to understanding the world through your eyes and together we can explore the challenges and choices you face.
Developing self-understanding, and exploring different ways of thinking and being, can lead you to finding more stability in your life.
My training is Integrative, meaning I use a range of complementary theoretical viewpoints in my practice. This flexibility allows a unique approach for each individual client.
Training, qualifications & experience
I qualified as a Counsellor at the University of Leicester.
I have worked for several years in the voluntary sector for The Leicester Counselling Centre, a large counselling service in Leicester City centre.
I have experience of working with many different presenting issues and difficulties, with adults and young people over 18yrs old and students.
I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and a Member of Mind, the mental health charity.
