Dena Ludford - Counselling Psychotherapist
About me
I'm a Registered Accredited and experienced counselling psychotherapist offering short and long term therapy for Adults, Children, Families and Couples in a safe, non-judgmental environment.
I offer supported help with various presenting issues, which include Anxiety, low self-esteem, relationships, and Bereavement Counselling. Counselling psychotherapy can help you feel supported as you explore difficult situations, helping you identify solutions, and support you, as you cope with change.
In order to keep my clients safe, I'm able to offer sessions either face to face adopting the latest government social distancing guidelines or in addition to this, I'm also experienced in 'on line' Therapy solutions.
Having now raised my family, I have always enjoyed the rewards of healthy eating and vibrant lifestyle choices to better support my positive mental and physical well-being.
I do fully understand how everyday life and lack of time can impact on us, that’s why each treatment I offer is supportive and effective to meet your needs. I look forward to meeting you as you enter your journey into counselling.

Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
