About me
Real change comes from within, as your counsellor I am there to help you make that happen. I will support you to understand yourself more fully, find trust in your own instincts and find solutions that work for you, whether it's improving your relationships, managing stress, or overcoming challenges.. I offer a combination of counselling methods to meet the specific needs of each person with the aim to support people to feel more in control to make changes and be happier about themselves. I am deeply committed to helping people to become the person they have always wanted to be.
I am a qualified Integrative therapist. I also have advanced specialist training in managing anxiety and depression.
In my past, I gained first-hand experience of being a counselling client and I found it to be hugely inspiring and transformative. My passion and drive to become a counsellor originated from that experience and I am deeply committed to helping other people to become the person they have always wanted to be.
Currently, I work one day a week as a volunteer counsellor for North Devon Hospice offering Bereavement Counselling. I have experience of working therapeutically with people with a diagnosis of Autism, ADHD and a Learning Disability. I offer face to face and telephone and online counselling. I offer a sliding scale of affordable counselling for several sessions a week.

- Level 5 Advanced Specialist Diploma in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (NCPS).
- Level 4 Advanced Diploma in Counselling (NCPS Accre)
- Level 3 Foundation Certificate in Counselling

I am experienced and have specific training in working with people who have depression, low mood and anxiety. I also have experience in working with people who have been bereaved and those who are experiencing significant health issues. I have many years of working with people with Autism, ADHD and a Learning Disability. I am also experienced in offering counselling to older people and people with Disability.
