About me

Are you struggling with Anxiety, panic attacks, feeling alone and isolated.

Do you feel permantly worried about everything?

Is your relationship struggling?

Are you struggling moving forward after losing someone?

These are really difficult times and many people are feeling anxious and depressed.  It may feel as though there is no one to turn to. If you feel you would like to speak to someone who will listen and understand, please get in touch by phone, e-mail or text me on 07891 120128. I can help.

About Me

I am an experienced psychotherapist, accredited with the National Counselling Society. I offer one to one integrative psychotherapy in Wainscott, near Rochester.  My integrative training means that I have studied a number of therapeutic techniques and use the techniques best suited to you and ones which you feel comfortable with. I create a friendly, safe environment to allow you to work through the issues you may have, whilst feeling supported, valued and heard.  I can help with anxiety, depression, addiction, abuse, relationship issues, family issues, bereavement, sexual issues and more.

I understand that coming for counselling may feel challenging. Perhaps you have been thinking about talking to someone for a while. Some days you may feel you need to speak to someone straight away. Having been there myself I understand this and will always try to see you sooner rather than later, in most cases that week. I also offer telephone consultations if you would prefer.

How it Works

Normally we start with an assessment (£45.00) which can last a little over 60 minutes, to see if you feel comfortable talking to me (which is really important), if you then feel you would like to go ahead we would decide together a weekly or fortnightly time to meet. We would also talk about how many sessions might work best for you.  I can offer both short term focussed work, and longer term in depth work, depending on what you feel would work best.

I offer an affordable fee of £45.00 for up to 60 minutes.  I also offer some concessionary places for people struggling on low incomes or students.

Telephone Counselling is £40.00 for up to 50 minutes.  Flexible times available.

What to expect from me

Counselling is about having a safe place where you can explore your feelings and emotions. I offer a comfortable, non-judgemental, confidential environment where you are able to discuss the difficulties that are causing you confusion or distress. This can assist you with seeking a greater balance in life, helping you cope better with whatever challenges arise in the future.

My role is not to give advice, but to listen. Change is possible and with the right support you can overcome any difficulties.

I have many years experience and training, of working both in the NHS and in my own private practice.

I am an accredited member of the National Counselling Society and recognised by the Royal College of Nursing. I work within their ethical framework. I have full professional indemnity insurance.

Therapy Location

My main practice is in Wainscott, near Rochester, which is close to Strood Station and on a local bus route. My rooms are quiet, calm and private.  There is free secured parking within the private grounds. It is easily accessible from Rochester, Strood, Gravesend, and Gillingham.

I also have a practice at Greenhithe, near Dartford.  My rooms are within the Greenhithe Therapy Centre. There is free secured parking within the local Judo Centre, which is part of the Therapy Centre.  Easily accessible from the M25, A2.  There is a local bus route also available.
