About me

Hello, are you, or your child, feeling overwhelmed, struggling with low mood or anxiety or feeling that you need to make changes but are unsure of the direction to take? I’m here to listen to support you as you work through your situation in a safe and calm way, enabling you to feel more confident with your next steps.

I appreciate that it can be hard to reach out for support and to the find the right person for you to work  with. There are lots of different type types of therapy and it can feel complex and overwhelming to choose. This is why I offer a halfprice first session, to see if we can work well together.

I aim to make this experience as simple, positive and comfortable as possible for you. When we meet, I want you to feel that you are  meeting a real, non-judgemental and empathetic person who you can relate to and feel supported by.

I am experienced in working with  children and young people as well as adults. I currently offer sessions face-to-face, online via Zoom and walking and talking therapy, taking advantage of the benefits of being outdoors .

I am a former teacher with an advanced diploma in Counselling for Children and Young People. I have worked with young people both in my private practice and within a school setting. My experience of working in schools has given me a clear insight and understanding of the pressure that teaching creates, together with thestress of maintaining a work life balance when working in an education setting. I therefore offer a discount for teachers and school support staff.
