About us

A professional counselling service which offers affordable and convenient counselling  for individuals (£10) and couples (£20) in the Warrington area that makes counselling accessible to all. It is a short term service that offers person-centred counselling and other modalities that offers online and face to face counselling. We have a team of 3 qualified counsellors and 3 trainee counsellors doing their placements. An assessment will be done with a qualified counsellor and you will then be allocated to an individual counsellor.

Counselling is suitable for anyone struggling with life's challenges, bereavement , relationships, work issues, stress, anxiety, depression, managing other mental health issues and especially helping people manage this difficult period around Covid and lock down.  We aim to make counselling accessible to all. The team will support you empathically and help you find space to move yourself forward.

Training, qualifications & experience

All team members have a minimum of Diploma in Counselling and are BACP members or accredited.

All trainees counsellors are on a diploma course and/or degree in Counselling

We offer supervision to the team each month by qualified supervisor.

The line manager has a Prof Diploma in Counselling and has BACP accredited membership

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.


British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

We have verified that at least one professional at this organisation is registered with the relevant professional body.

If a Counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.
