Do any of these feel familiar?
- feeling anxious, worried, stressed and not knowing how to manage?
- feeling misunderstood, judged with no-one to talk to?
- overwhelmed with things going on and not knowing where to turn
Life can be really good but it can also be tough, challenging and confusing, and sometimes we can feel really alone in the confusion.
Its quite normal to feel nervous about coming to counselling for the first time - sharing what is going on in your life with someone.
I remember being really nervous and I also remember the absolute feelings of relief when I realised someone was listening, that I could safely and without fear of rejection or judgement tell my counsellor anything that I wanted to, and with their help, I figured out a way forward.
