About me

My name is Debbie and I am a qualified counsellor for adults and children. I hold a full membership with the BACP and believes each and everybody is unique, and this is why the sessions I offer are fluid and will be shaped by 'you'. There is no right or wrong way and what suits one person may not suit another, so working in partnership is key to a successful counselling journey.

All clients are welcome to make initial contact, where we can decide together whether I will be able to support your needs. I will offer you a confidential, non judgemental, safe space to explore your inner turmoil, offering you a warm and gentle approach to help you unpick what's impacting your life.

I have worked with people suffering from eating disorders for the past 4.5 years, anxiety, depression, low self esteem and confidence.

What will happen in the session?

We can meet for an informal chat which is free and you are able to ask any questions and gage whether you think we could work together.

How many sessions can I have?

We can discuss this at our first meeting, but I would offer 6 sessions at a time which can roll on. This I feel offers flexibility and an opportunity to be able to review how the sessions are working for you.

How much are the sessions?

These are the current rates for 1:1, 50 min counselling sessions:
