Further information
I’ve become a counsellor in later life because I’ve seen how active listening and support can help people get through the challenges they face. My training, placement work in a hospice, and experience as a volunteer listener, have deepened my natural empathy for others. My interest and previous work in the arts continue to inspire my curiosity about people, how we connect and what makes that difficult sometimes.
You know yourself, but I can bring my knowledge of different approaches, theories and ways of thinking to our work together so that you feel better equipped to deal with your challenges. I’m experienced in end-of-life conversations, support and knowledge. I’m reliable, patient and thoughtful.
I practice in the friendly and easy to reach Sheffield Wellness Centre on Abbeydale Road in Nether Edge. It's easily reached by bus and there's onstreet parking nearby.
