About me

As a Humanistic Integrative Counsellor, I believe that within each of us lies the potential for healing and growth. Trained in several different therapeutic approaches, my aim is to provide a safe, confidential space that honours your unique journey. Since 2015, I’ve had the privilege of working in both community and residential settings, with a special focus on addiction and behavioural change. This experience has deepened my understanding of how life’s challenges can create feelings of being stuck, with thoughts and emotions weighing us down.

Incorporating Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) skills and theory into my practice, I can support you to make meaningful, positive changes in a relatively short-term course of therapy, allowing you to gently release the blocks that may be holding you back from your true potential. I aim to help individuals break free from these patterns, allowing them to reconnect with a deeper sense of balance and peace.

For me, counselling is a calling. I’m passionate about helping others shift from places of limitation into a world of possibility. In my personal life, I’ve practised mindfulness and CBT techniques for many years, which keep me grounded and present, enriching my work. These practices, together with my professional skills, guide me in my work.

I am experienced in working with a range of issues, including depression, anxiety, grief, low self-esteem, anger, and addiction. Whether you’re seeking guidance for a specific issue or simply a place to explore and grow, I offer both short-term and longer-term sessions. My work is available online or over the phone, with flexible evening and weekend appointments to suit your needs.

To help you feel at ease, I offer a free 20-minute consultation where we can talk about your circumstances and see if we’re a good fit.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
