Dayspring Church Counselling Service
Dayspring counselling service has offered counselling for over 20 years to individuals with issues such as bereavement, relationships, anxiety, depression, divorce, retirement and many more.
Dayspring counsellors are affiliated to counselling bodies such as ACC (Association of Christian Counsellors), BACP (British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists) and BACBT (British Association of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy) and have trained at some of the following universities:- University of Leeds, Leeds Beckett, York University, York St John and UCHM including ongoing training nationally.
Dayspring are in the process of expanding the counselling service. We offer counselling to individuals and by Easter 2019 are hoping to extend counselling to couples and young people. We will be extending our opening hours to six days a week and plan to be including some evenings in order to offer additional sessions for clients.
We are in the process of renewing our website which should be up and running by April 2019.
Please contact Dayspringcounselling@hotmail.co.uk and ask for a counselling referral form and we will be able to offer you an appointment as soon as we receive your completed form.
Dayspring counselling service is affiliated to ACC and therefore being attached to the Church our counsellors adhere to Christian ethics. However our service is not christian counselling or prayer ministry. The service is for everyone and is a warm, friendly environment with plenty of parking around the high street.
