Dawn Walters - Human Givens Therapist HG Dip P. MHGI, BA (Hons).
I am a Human Givens therapist and I will work with you to achieve your goals. Human Givens therapists are focussed on solutions. I work in a safe, caring empathetic and kind environment to meet your needs. When our needs are not met we feel out of sorts. I work with all resulting issues that arise when our human needs are not met. Issues such as depression, anxiety, addictions and trauma including PTSD (patients with trauma do not need to repeat the story of their trauma, in order to start their healing process). My job is to inspire you with Hope from the first session and to get you enjoying life as soon as possible.
Patients of Human Givens enjoy and appreciate that this therapy is non-invasive and you don't have to keep going over the difficult events of the past. We look to the future so that the scar does not need re-opening constantly, with the result that it finally heals and the person can move on with their lives.
Human Givens qualified therapists are especially sought out for PTSD since they are trained in the use of the Rewind and Deep Relaxation. It is important to remember, as stated above, that the patient does not have to talk about the trauma, they only need to get a flavour of it, in order to start the healing journey through Rewind.
I run a thriving successful practice and welcome all ages from 5 to 100+.
To take the first step towards counselling, please feel free to email or call me, in order to set up a no-obligation brief chat to discuss your expectations from counselling. If you are happy to continue, we will arrange a first session and you can then arrange further sessions as you feel necessary.

Areas of counselling I deal with
Human Givens is widely recognised in helping clients to get to where they want to be quickly. The average amount of sessions tends to be typically around 6.
The cost is £70 per session.
The first session is 90 minutes and subsequent sessions between 60 to 90 minutes as needed.
I am committed to making people feel better about life and taking them back to homeostasis, that original feeling of feeling totally well. Therefore, I am happy to support people through every issue to make them feel well again, including depression, anxiety, trauma, and addictions.
Young people and children especially enjoy Human Givens therapy since it is non-invasive and they enjoy the fact that it is all about feeling good and better. They also seem to appreciate the online and telephone sessions a lot.
Currently during Covid my sessions are all online or by telephone. This will change according to government advice.
