About me

When was the last time that you checked in with yourself? We can be there to support our loved ones and just get on with the day to day but sometimes forget to look after ourselves. We can feel lost, overwhelmed, scared or angry at the curveballs that life throws at us.

As a person-centred therapist, I know how important it is to feel comfortable and accepted in counselling sessions. We can build up trust together and so empower you to explore difficult feelings and find a way forward. I’m happy to work in a shorter-term solution focussed way or explore deeper issues, which have been troubling you for a while, over the longer term.

Being CBT trained, I can help you to identify unhelpful thoughts, patterns and behaviours and we can work on strategies to better manage the emotional impact of these thoughts. I also enjoy bringing in compassionate and mindful approaches to my counselling.

As a relationship counsellor, I trained with Relate working for several national charities & in private practice in this specialist area. Relationship counselling can bring hope when relationships seem stuck and find ways through blocks to clear communication. It’s a chance to gain new perspectives about each other and regain positive ways of being together.

Wheelchair user access info
Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a Counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the Counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.

My counselling practice is located in central Warrington, where I rent a comfortable, private room within a welcoming community venue. The space is easily accessible, situated on the ground floor with wheelchair access. There is plenty of parking close by
