Hi, my name is Dawn and I’m qualified in person centred approach, I offer a confidential counselling service for adults, adolescence and children.
I am proud to be able to see the world through your eyes , and i feel privileged to have supported people from all walks of life with diverse backgrounds, I will work alongside you to help you with any changes you wish to make in life, and I’m proud to say that the feedback I get from others is that I am accepting, warm and non- judgement.
I aim to offer you a safe and empathic environment, to empower you to explore difficulties and challenges you may be experiencing.
I understand that at times it may be difficult to leave the safety of your own homes due to personal issues or disabilities, so I can also offer you home visits to make counselling sessions available to everyone.

I have worked with Prison related issues, to support against re-offending , I have supported families affected by drug and alcohol abuse, also including guilt issues.

My fee is £35 per hour.
I understand how important it is for you to feel comfortable in a counselling relationship so I offer, a free 30 minute initial meeting either face- face or by telephone, to discuss any questions you may have.
I have low cost consessions to provide affordable Counselling for individuals on low incomes.
I can offer home visits to support clients who may struggle to leave home.
I am a fully qualified Counsellor, I’m insured and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and psychotherapy (BACP). As a member I follow their ethical guidelines, which is based around being trustworthy and honest, providing confidentiality and always putting your best interest first in everything I do.
I continue professional development to keep my skills and knowledge up to date.

I can offer you counselling in their own home, to support you if you are finding it difficult to leave home, this maybe for many reasons, including feeling low or due to disability,
I can offer counselling sessions days, evenings and weekends, I ca also travel throughout Kirklees as I understand how difficult it can be to travel when you are through personal issues.
