Many kinds of difficulties in life can lead a person to seek psychotherapy or counselling, such as bereavement, relationship difficulties, anxiety or past traumas. Sometimes however, it can be a feeling that something’s not ‘quite right', a feeling of being trapped or stuck. I offer an empathetic, compassionate, non judgemental service within a safe environment, to support you to work through your difficulties.
I am a qualified psychotherapist, a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and BACP Children, Young People & Families (CYPF). Offering support to adults and young people (13+). I use an integrative framework which can include working with aspects of Humanistic and Psychodynamic approaches as well as Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Gestalt and Mindfulness.
I hold an Enhanced DBS and Personal Liability Insurance.
Training, qualifications & experience
I hold a BSc (Hons) Applied Social Sciences from the University of Gloucestershire. I had previously graduated with a Foundation Degree (Merit) in Therapeutic Counselling, again from the University of Gloucestershire. Alongside my private practice, I also offer counselling in a Bristol academy for students aged 11-18.
