About me

All clients have their unique experiences, relationships and differing lives. As I am an integrative, humanistic counsellor, I use my knowledge of several theories, primarily drawing on Person-Centred therapy, including Transactional Analysis (TA), Gestalt, and Existentialism, applying them seamlessly and specifically tailored to your needs.

I have dealt with a broad range of difficulties including; anxiety, depression, affairs and betrayals, separation and divorce, addiction, bereavement, low self-esteem, low self-confidence, procrastination and lack of motivation.

What if you don’t know what you want to work on? Maybe you don’t fully understand why you are feeling the way you do. This is OK too. I will be there to support you through this period and through any changes you make.

I will encourage you to consider your feelings and take responsibility for your thoughts, actions and choices. The emphasis will be on your self-development and achieving your potential, the best you.

I will not give you advice, or tell you what I think you should do. Instead, I will offer you a non-judgmental space to share what is on your mind, so you can find meaning and come to your own solutions.

First Steps

You can set up an initial session, which would allow us to get to know each other a little. You will have the opportunity to share your motivation for coming to therapy and ask any questions you may have about me or the counselling process.  At the end of the session, we will probably both know if we want to work together; it is about getting the right help you need.

It has been proven that the bond that develops between client and counsellor is vital to help the therapeutic process: I recommend you see more than one therapist initially, before deciding on the best “fit” for you.
