David Wilson - BA (Hons), Dip Couns, MBACP.
There may be times in your life when you need someone to talk to, someone who is not a friend or part of your family. It takes courage to make the step to see a therapist and they should be someone you feel happy talking to about difficult, challenging and personal matters. Research has proven that the relationship between client and counsellor is paramount for therapy to take place and create the necessary environment towards a positive outcome.
I offer a free 15 minute online session to see what brings you to counselling and to check if I can be of help. It is also for you to see if you would like to work with me as a therapist.
Do you sometimes suffer from anxiety or depression? Are you a people pleaser foregoing your own needs? Perhaps you strive for perfection and are very critical of yourself when you fall short? Do you let your mind run away with negative thoughts, to the point of overthinking? Can life be overwhelming for you at times? Do you have low self-esteem or low self-confidence? These are the issues that I am most effective at helping with.
I offer both short and long-term support and specialise in working with Highly Sensitive People (HSP’s) and parents of Highly Sensitive Children.
For more details on this and links to HSP tests for adults and children, please see my website.
