About me
What I do is called Person-Centred counselling. I work face-to-face with adult (18+) individuals in a private and confidential setting, for short-term or long-term work. My aim is to provide a therapeutic environment in which we can work together, safely exploring any emotionally difficult and / or complex personal issues.
By actively listening to you, and genuinely trying to understand and fully accept who you are, a therapeutic relationship can form. With an effective rapport established, in which you are neither judged nor pushed but instead supported and encouraged, you are free to find your own way.

I am an Accredited Registrant Member of the National Counselling Society.

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

In 2013 the NCS register was accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under the Accredited Voluntary Register Scheme. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
