About me

I am a BACP registered counsellor formerly based in central Leicester but now working remotely.  I offer confidential online or phone counselling with compassion and understanding to individual adults facing challenging issues.

Examples of issues I can help you resolve might include generalised anxiety and stress, depression, relationship issues, or a number of life’s other difficulties listed below.

I will work collaboratively with you to explore the issues you are experiencing, using a psychodynamic approach. A free initial consultation is available, where we discuss your requirements and how we might best work together. Following this meeting I offer weekly counselling sessions on a Wednesday or Friday. Each session lasts 50 minutes and continues for a mutually agreed number of weeks. Short-term focused therapy may last for 6 to 8 weeks, and longer term counselling may be open-ended and subject to regular review.

If you have read anything here that you would like to discuss further, please contact me by 'phone or email to fix an appointment. I look forward to meeting you and working with you towards a brighter future.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
