I am a Chartered Counselling Psychologist; providing support to children, young people and adults. I offer a relaxed and confidential space to support you explore the challenges you currently experience.
Deciding to seek support is often the most courageous step towards addressing the difficulties you experience. My role is help you make sense of why you feel the way that you do and crucially support you to identify ways to manage the challenges that currently impact on the quality of your life.
I have over 10 years experience supporting children, young people and adults who have faced a range of difficulties such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, bereavement and loss, identity issues, low self esteem, stress related problems and many more.
I integrate a variety of approaches within my practice such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), person centred, psychodynamic, systemic, solution focused. This enables me to draw upon theoretical principles that are suited to your specific needs.
Taking these initial steps to change can be daunting, which is why I recommend that our initial, no commitment contact is used to ask questions about this process so you can decide whether working together is the right fit; as the development of our therapeutic relationship will play an essential role in the outcome of our work together.
