About me

At some stage in our lives, we pretty much all become somewhat stuck, with just under a third of us going on to be mentally diagnosed, as such.

I’ve spent many a year based in the heart of corporate London - Canary Wharf and in Chester, psychologically treating and coaching some of the most stressed people back to a better state of mental health and living.

No matter whether you’re freshly tenured or a season trader, in admin or accounting, or are at senior executive level - it happens to us all! Depression, anxiety, or burnout, are the norm. You might have been recently mauled/stabbed in the back by a colleague or senior management. A relationship is in trouble/over, or you’re just not coping well with the lot - you’ve had enough! Come talk to me, I’m close by and very experienced in psychological and coaching matters, having been one of you. I understand it from the inside and out.

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Further information

Nearly one in six people are neurodiverse, with a significant number undiagnosed.

Working with clients specifically suffering from these conditions, I advocate on their behalf with GP’s, specialist psychiatrists and employers, in diagnosing and installing reasonable workplace adjustments.

Neurodiversity - ADHD, ADD, ASD…etc., is a sector of mental health and coaching I specialise within, having received targeted training from United Kingdom Adult ADHD Network (UKAAN). Not only do I work one-to-one in assisting those in need being diagnosed, I also work with employers in designing and implementing (training) their HR Neurodiversity policies
