About me

My role is to give you the space and opportunity to be truly listened to in a non-judgemental and empathetic way. In the end, you the client, are the expert on yourself - long lasting resolutions ultimately come from you. I will be there alongside on the path to support you develop the insights necessary to resolve your own difficulties. Confidentiality and trust in the therapeutic relationship is my absolute priority. I have worked with clients presenting a variety of issues from low self-esteem, emotional numbness, anxiety, depression, trauma and have considerable experience working with domestic violence and coercive control. As an Integrative Counsellor I engage in various techniques to support you on your counselling journey. Person Centred Therapy is the foundation to my work.I draw on CBT, TA and Mindfulness to work with interactions between thoughts, feelings and actions. Gestalt Therapy and ACT are used to support clients to re-engage with emotions and the present moment.

I work with clients face to face, online or using the phone. Covid-safe precautions are used when face to face - NHS Test and Trace, I regularly take lateral flow tests and the counselling space cleaned after each client.
