About me
I’m David, a qualified integrative counsellor offering confidential, professional support in Battersea (SW11) and online across the UK. I work with adults facing a wide range of emotional and relational difficulties, whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, anxious, low, or simply need a space to slow down and reflect.
You might be going through a life transition, feeling burnt out, questioning your sense of self, or struggling in your relationships. Therapy can offer a calm, consistent space to explore what’s going on and begin to feel more like yourself again.
I offer a warm, grounded space where we can work at your pace. My approach is integrative, drawing from person-centred, psychodynamic, and CBT-based therapies; so we can shape the sessions around your unique needs and experiences.
At the heart of our work is a supportive, collaborative relationship. I’ll listen without judgement, help you make sense of your thoughts and feelings, and gently support any changes you want to make.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a fully qualified therapist based in London UK, and have the following qualifications:
SEG Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling – Integrative Pathway
SEG Level 3 Certificate in Counselling Skills
I am registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy whose ethical framework I adhere to diligently.
Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
At times, life can bring us to a place where we need a compassionate, non-judgemental space to be truly heard and to process what we're experiencing.
Seeking counselling is a brave and transformative step, and it would be an honour for me to walk alongside you on that journey.
What I value most in our work together is creating a therapeutic relationship built on trust and respect—one where your authentic self is prioritised and fully listened to. It’s a space where you can grow in confidence and gain clarity on how to navigate your next steps, no matter what challenges you're facing.
I’d be happy to offer a free 30 minute consultation to see if we’re a good fit to work together.
Our Sessions...
Regular sessions are 50 minutes and take place weekly at the same time and place. If your sessions are in person, please arrive at your appointment time and not before as I may have finished with another client just before your session.
I offer in person sessions at Rooms for Therapists on Northcote Road SW11 or online, currently I send a private video link via Google Meets.
In your free 30 minute consultation we will discuss what brings you to therapy, I will explain a bit about how I practice and answer any of your questions, whether that's about confidentiality, how therapy "works" or any of your others thoughts or concerns.
The space and time is completely yours, even from our consultation session.
