About me
Are you facing or have you ever faced discrimination, harassment, abuse, or prejudice? Maybe this makes you feel isolated, with a deep anger or sense of failure?
Perhaps you might be struggling in your relationship/s or maybe you are finding parenting particularly full on. Maybe this is leading to feelings of shame, guilt or regret?
Living with any of these issues can be extremely overwhelming and be associated with a lot of worry. This can lead to a sense of low-mood, life feeling out of control and not what you had hoped for.
Our work together will help you process what has been going on, help you find clarity and meaning and hope as you move forward in life and with the people around you.
Together we can create a space where you feel truly heard. No judgement, no pressure, just a down-to-earth, warm and supportive place to untangle thoughts, explore emotions, and move toward the life you hope for.
I would love to connect with you to see if we could work well together and I offer a free 30 minute consultation so you can tell me about what is happening for you and find out more about how we would work together.

Training, qualifications & experience
Having spent many years in pastoral and creative roles in different spaces, my therapeutic training was the amalgamation of my core beliefs and passions for working with and helping people.
My training involved a strong focus on diversity and difference and I have extensive experience working with different areas of difference within my client work, including race, gender and sexuality. I have a Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) whose ethical framework I diligently adhere to.
I've also had therapy myself over a number of years, so I know personally how brave and yet transformative it can be for you.
Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
At times, life can bring us to a place where we need a compassionate, non-judgemental space to be truly heard and to process what we're experiencing.
Seeking counselling is a brave and transformative step, and it would be an honour for me to walk alongside you on that journey.
What I value most in our work together is creating a therapeutic relationship built on trust and respect—one where your authentic self is prioritised and fully listened to. It’s a space where you can grow in confidence and gain clarity on how to navigate your next steps, no matter what challenges you're facing.
I’d be happy to offer a free 30 minute consultation to see if we’re a good fit to work together.
Our Sessions...
Regular sessions are 50 minutes and take place weekly at the same time and place. If your sessions are in person, please arrive at your appointment time and not before as I may have finished with another client just before your session.
I offer in person sessions at Rooms for Therapists on Northcote Road & Battersea Rise SW11, and also provide online sessions.
In your free 30 minute consultation we will discuss what brings you to therapy, I will explain a bit about how I practice and answer any of your questions, whether that's about confidentiality, how therapy "works" or any of your others thoughts or concerns.
The space and time is completely yours, even from our consultation session.
