About me
Hello, my name is Danielle. I am a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist accredited with the BABCP and experienced in treating clients within my local NHS trust where I currently work. Starting therapy can be daunting, and it’s important that you feel able to gel with and trust your therapist. I am genuinely passionate about helping people to work through and overcome their difficulties, having lived experience of the impact that mental health difficulties can have, and engaging in therapy. I am a warm, down to earth person and will work with you to establish what you want to get from therapy and think about how I can help you to achieve this.
I am trained and experienced in working with the following -
- Depression
- Low self esteem
- Post-traumatic stress disorder
- General anxiety
- Social anxiety
- Health anxiety
- Obsessive compulsive disorder
- Phobias
- Panic disorder
- Body dysmorphia
I offer sessions over video platform Google Meet so you can engage in therapy from the comfort of your own home. My current availability is Monday morning, Thursday morning and evening, and Saturday morning.
If you would like to know more about CBT and how I can help you, I offer a free 20 minute initial phone consultation to explore what you would like to get from therapy and see if CBT would be a good fit for you. If you’d prefer you are welcome to send me an email for us to discuss this further.
