About me
Beneath the busy… are you starting to lose yourself? Are you always the one holding it all together, for everyone but yourself? When was the last time you felt truly seen, heard, and supported?
Let’s change that. I offer a space to pause and reflect; explore what’s beneath the overwhelm; explore the deeper roots of the stress and anxiety; feel more grounded and like yourself; and create practical ways to move forward.
Who am I?
Hi, I’m Danielle, a creative psychotherapist, coach and entrepreneur with a deep belief that we heal and grow through reflection, connection, and creative exploration. I offer online therapy sessions for adults looking to reconnect with themselves, navigate burnout, or find clarity through life’s messier moments.
My approach is warm, down-to-earth, and deeply respectful of each person’s unique journey. Whether you’re supporting others through work, volunteering, community projects, or navigating your own emotional challenges, this space is for you. I’m particularly passionate about supporting individuals in helping roles: those who lead teams, support causes, or carry the emotional labour of building passion-led projects.
You don’t have to keep pushing through. Together, we’ll pause, explore what’s weighing you down, and gently rebuild a more grounded, aligned version of your life and work.
How do my sessions work?
My sessions are creative and reflective. We may use art materials to explore deeper emotions and patterns, but don’t worry, you don’t need to be ‘good’ at art. Sometimes, a pen and paper is all it takes to access something powerful.
All sessions are held online (via Zoom), offering flexibility and comfort from your own space. I use a blend of therapeutic tools to help uncover what’s beneath the surface, working with trauma, unspoken feelings, mindset, self-belief, creative play, and intentional action.
Sessions are an hour each. We will have an initial 15 minute session (free) to make sure we are the right fit for each other, and for me to see how I can best support you.
To begin, weekly sessions are often helpful in building momentum and trust. However, fortnightly or flexible sessions can also work, depending on your needs and reason for attending therapy. We’ll have an honest conversation about what feels right for you.
At the start, we can discuss how many sessions might be useful, but there’s no set rule. We’ll revisit this regularly and openly. You will never be encouraged to attend or pay for sessions unless we both feel they are beneficial to you.
What are the benefits of therapy?
Therapy offers a space to pause, reflect, and be fully seen without judgment. It helps you explore what’s beneath stress or overwhelm, so you can respond from clarity, not reactivity. When we’re not grounded or aware of our past wounds, we often react from frustration, fear, or old patterns. Over time, therapy can support greater self-awareness, emotional regulation, and more authentic, conscious ways of relating, helping you feel more grounded, confident, and connected to yourself and others.

Additional Professional Training:

Alongside my academic qualifications, I’ve spent the past decade leading a charity, mentoring over 50 staff and placement students, and helping others develop their own leadership and community-based projects. I’m also a published author, co-writing From the Heart, a book sharing stories from women in leadership.
I’ve walked the road of burnout, reinvention, and realignment myself. So I don’t offer quick fixes. I offer real, embodied support rooted in personal experience and professional skills.
I provide a therapeutic space for:
- Leaders, entrepreneurs, and professionals navigating overwhelm or emotional exhaustion
- Individuals seeking deeper self-awareness, beyond surface-level coping
- Those looking to reconnect with their sense of purpose and values
- People in helping roles (community, third sector, care, education) who often put themselves last
My approach is relational, non-judgemental, and flexible. I combine talking therapy with creative techniques (like simple drawing or journaling), depending on what suits you best. Sessions are guided by your pace and needs.
Art materials are optional but can be a useful tool for those looking to explore non-verbal or deeper emotional layers. Simple supplies like pens and paper are all you need to begin.
