There are moments in life when we may need help with understanding the way we relate to other people, how we conduct our personal, professional and family life or why we sometimes make decisions that are detrimental to our wellbeing.
On these occasions, many people decide to look for a Counsellor or Psychotherapist. Client and psychotherapist will work together, questioning, analysing and reflecting on what is communicated by the client, without judgment or criticism. In this setting the client will be able to explore and try to understand their difficulties with the aim of managing them more effectively and hopefully producing some change.
People seek therapy for a number of reasons. Common concerns are:
- Relationship difficulties
- Family issues
- Domestic Violence/ Abuse
- Lack of self-esteem
- Work related problems
- Eating difficulties
- Suicidal thoughts
- Anxiety and Panic Attacks
