About me

I’m Daniel Sylvester, and I specialise in therapy and counselling for addictions of all kinds.

It might be alcohol, prescription or non-prescription drugs, gambling, sex, porn, food, exercise, shopping, gaming or social media. It can be any compulsive behaviour that’s causing damage to your health, relationships or finances.

If you’re struggling with addiction, you’re likely feeling isolated, alienated from your true self, trapped in a cycle of craving and relief. But I promise you, if you want to change, there’s hope.

The road to recovery is long and difficult. But if you’re prepared to show up, do the work – even when it gets tough and scary – I’ll be right there with you, every step of the way.

I offer:

  • online one-to-one sessions
  • online group therapy
  • workshops to help you navigate the recovery journey
  • support for family members, friends and sponsors

Just being here, looking for a therapist, is a huge first step. There are no shortcuts to recovery – no magic fix or miracle cure. But I can help you build the inner strength and resources to soothe, care for and depend on yourself – through recovery and beyond.

Training, qualifications & experience

I hold a Diploma Certificate in Transpersonal Integrative Psychotherapy from the Centre for Counselling & Psychotherapy Education in London, and am an accredited member of the National Counselling Society.
