Training, qualifications & experience

I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches to support you with the challenges you may be facing. My work is holistic and tailored to your unique needs, rooted in a safe, open, and supportive therapeutic relationship. I strive to provide a space of warmth, empathy, authenticity, and confidentiality where you can explore, heal, and grow.

I practice in an integrative and pluralistic way, which means I tailor therapy to suit you as an individual. Drawing from a range of modalities I have trained in, I work collaboratively to create a therapeutic approach that aligns with your needs. I welcome an initial conversation to explore how we might work together in a way that feels right for you.

I use a loosely structured approach to understand what has brought you to therapy and what you hope to gain from it. We may explore areas such as key life experiences, current challenges, therapeutic goals, and overall well-being. Most importantly, the session is a space for us to begin understanding how we can work together in a way that feels meaningful and beneficial to you.

Areas we can work together with include; depression, loss, trauma, relationship issues, identity concerns, ADHD, Anxiety, Autism, Bereavement, Health anxiety, Relationships, Abuse, Post-traumatic stress, Service veterans, Self-esteem, Identity issues, Sexuality, Sexual identity, Cultural issues, Spirituality, Men's issues, Stress and work, Stress, Work related issues, Redundancy, Anger management, Relationships, Sex related issues, Health related issues, ADD, ADHD, Disability, Autism spectrum, Neuro diversity, Sensory impairment, Self harm, Obsessions, Addiction, OCD, Phobias, Substance dependency, Personal development and feelings of uncertainty.

At your convenience, I offer flexible, accessible counselling and Psychotherapy throughout the week. I currently have availability on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays allowing you to schedule sessions that suit your lifestyle. Whether you’re managing ongoing challenges, coping with a crisis, or simply want to check in, I’m here to help.

Rooted in Person-Centred counselling, my approach focuses on understanding your unique needs, working together to create a tailored treatment plan. I adhere to the Ethical Framework for Counsellors set by the BACP, holding professional indemnity insurance and a current DBS certificate to ensure a safe and professional environment.

With experience across private practice and agency settings, I am committed to ongoing professional development to refine my skills and offer the highest level of care. If you’re ready to embark on a journey towards improved mental health, I warmly invite you to schedule a session. Together, we’ll work toward your goals and help you reach your fullest potential.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
