About me

My name is Daniel Quinn. I am caring, compassionate and dedicated to helping others to make meaningful changes in their lives.

In addition to my private practice, I also currently work within the NHS providing Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to individuals over the age of 16 years old.

I currently offer remote therapy by telephone and video conferencing (e.g. Zoom and Microsoft Teams).

Training, qualifications & experience

I have over 10 years’ experience of working within NHS and Primary Care Mental Health Services.

My qualifications include:

  • BSc (Hons) Psychology
  • PG Cert in Advanced Practice Interventions for Mental Health (APIMH)
  • PG Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy

​I engage in regular clinical supervision and continuing professional development (CPD) training. I adhere to the ethical and professional standards and codes of conduct outlined by the BABCP.

British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP)

The BABCP is the lead organisation for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in the UK.

Membership is open to anyone with an interest in the practice, theory or development of CBT. BABCP also provides accreditation for CBT therapists.

BABCP accredited members adhere to the Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics in the Practice of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies, and are willing to be scrutinised in this adherence as required.


Additional information

You will be offered a free 10 minute consultation to briefly assess whether CBT may be suitable to meet your needs. You will be able to ask any brief questions you may have about therapy.  

You will then be invited for a full 50 minute assessment session in order to gather as much relevant information as possible. This will help us to develop a shared understanding of your main problems.  

Each 50 minute session costs £60.

Payment must be made by bank transfer prior to each session commencing.
