About me

Hello, my name is Daniel and I run my private practice covering Twickenham and the surrounding areas.  I also work online with clients across the country.

I offer a safe and relaxing environment for clients to explore whatever issues they may have. Each person’s experience of therapy is personal and I like to provide a down-to-earth, forward-thinking and solution-focused environment where I recognise that it is the relationship between the client and counsellor that is of the utmost importance.

As an integrative counsellor, I am influenced by a variety of approaches that inform my work.  This means that I recognise that all clients have different life experiences and are unique and that one approach does not fit all.  I, therefore, draw on different theoretical approaches that influence the way in which I work with you, dependent on your needs.  In particular, I recognise that it can be helpful to look at past experiences in order to understand current difficulties in relationships today.  I am a thoroughly modern counsellor and am dedicated to providing counselling in a straightforward, non-judgemental and relaxed setting.

If you would like an have an initial session then don’t hesitate to contact me by phone, email or text.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have a Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Additional information

I offer a 30-minute online/phone initial consultation for £30.

The success of counselling relies on the quality of the relationship between us, so it is important that you get a feel of who I am and whether you think you can talk to me, as well as whether I can help you with your circumstances.  Please feel free to ask me anything that is on your mind, especially if you are looking for something particular in your counsellor.
