About me

I am a BA hons, PG dip, qualified Psychotherapist available for appointments in my Fulham, South West London and Guildford, Surrey practices as well as online (Skype) and telephone counselling sessions. I have 10 years' experience working for the Priory hospital group, where I continue to practice today.

I help adults with issues such as anxiety (including phobias), depression, low self confidence or self esteem, relationship, abuse, stress, work (including redundancy), personality disorders (including BPD), addictions (including sex), suicidal thoughts, pregnancy, birth, and infertility.

I work with adults, couples and groups in a variety of approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Couples counselling, Psychosexual therapy, Psychodynamic therapy, Humanistic therapy, Solution Focused Brief therapy, Mindfulness, Integrative therapy, Existential therapy and Psychoanalytic therapy.

I offer a free initial 30 minute telephone consultation in order to ascertain whether therapy would be suitable for the individual and to establish an initial working rapport.

Thereafter, during the first formal session, I establish the client's unique needs and tailor a bespoke programme using relevant psychotherapy techniques. This integrative approach emphasises the uniqueness of each client and is well established through years of experience.

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

BACP

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
